Main Street Wines & Spirits in Eudora, KS is looking for a liquor store clerk to join our team! Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, and hard-working. Of course training will be provided until you are familiar with everything.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Previous liquor store or retail experience is helpful but not necessary, as long as you are someone who is quick to learn.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, & beer, but not 100% necessary. Having patience to learning the products because that generally takes time.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs., Equipment operation (Scanner, Register, Credit Card Terminal), reaching, standing, turning, squatting, bending, & walking.
• Judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interactions, memorizing, reading, writing, math/counting currency.

Responsibilities

• Assist Customers
• Greet customers
• Assist customers with products; Suggest Products
• Bring customers to location of items, when needed
• Stock liquor supplies
• Provide courteous customer service
• General cleaning of shelves and other store areas
• Knowing all laws and regulations pertaining to liquor sales and also laws pertaining to Hours of operation
• Able to handle special orders, such as kegs, and have appropriate equipment ready for Customers when they pick up special orders
• Be able to work independently
• Other duties as assigned
• Preform aisle stocking as needed
• Complete assigned tasks in an efficient and timely manner
• Ensure correct placement of stock
• Rotate and face product as required
• Building Six Packs
• Vacuuming & Mopping the store
