Description The
Social Media Intern role is a part-time position that lives within the Community
Care/Marketing Division of Chick-fil-A Deer Valley & Chick-fil-A Norterra and is overseen by
the Chief Marketing Officer. The intern will act as a liaison between the organization and the community. The main objectives for the intern will be to help drive engagement on social media, provide graphic design support, and share stories of the restaurants through digital content. The
Social Media Intern will:
-Be fluent & understand the VIS of Chick-fil-A
-Follow all Chick-fil-A Brand Guardrails
-Be fluent & understand Social Media Publisher on @ CFA
-Tune into or watch the monthly RMD call when it's applicable to social media
-Carry out the social media vision/strategy developed by the CMO, through social media posts
-Consult with the CMO to create a monthly social media content calendar based on national &
regional marketing, restaurant sales trends, operational needs, employer brand, and in store
events.
-Create at least 3 posts and 1 video/reel (FB/IG) a week to post on social media channels which
may cover content related to team members, community care, and restaurant updates.
-Work with the Talent Team to obtain content for Team Member highlight posts (sharing stories,
promotions, team activities, etc.).
-Responsibility for signed social media waivers for Team Members and guests.
-Set and track social media engagement goals. Present this to the CMO by the 1st Monday of
the following month.
-Positively engage with guests on social media within 24 hours, except on Sundays.
-Take "stock photos" in the restaurant for future use on social media.
Additional Considerations:
-PR situations: if there is a situation that arises that may need the consult of PR, Social Media
Intern will notify the CMO ASAP.
-Attend weekly meetings with the CMO

Requirements - Enrolled in a college/university in the Phoenix, Arizona area pursuing a degree in marketing, digital media, public relations, or other related field preferred..
- Previous experience creating digital content and campaign management preferred
- Experience with graphic design preferred
- Servant-minded and possesses an ability to work independently
- Takes accountability for projects and seeks to ensure all tasks are completed on time
- Available for various team and community events
