Maxwood Furniture is a rapidly growing design, import, and distribution company with a selection of nationally renowned furniture brands. Since launching over two decades ago, we have grown to manufacture several distinct product lines that we sell across a variety of platforms and popular retailers including Amazon, Wayfair, Overstock, Rooms to Go, and Target.

We are seeking a new member to add to our Warehouse team. Our 500,000 square foot newly renovated warehouse is located in Marion South Carolina. Are you ready to be a part of something amazing?

Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring quality and accuracy at all stages.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products based on orders using scanners and handheld devices.
• Ensure picked items meet quality and quantity requirements, checking for damage or errors.
• Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts and walkie riders (if applicable).
• Maintain clean and organized picking areas to promote safe work practices.
• Assist in the inventory counting process when required.
• Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 150 lbs. and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic math skills and good attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn.
