Job Title: Architect / Interior Architect

Location: New York, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM – 6 PM

Work Environment: 100% In-Office

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Architect / Interior Architect to join a team in New York City. As an Architect of Record (AOR) firm, they specialize in high-end commercial and luxury residential projects, focusing exclusively on renovations and adaptive reuse—no ground-up construction.

The ideal candidate is a well-rounded designer with strong technical expertise who is eager to grow within this firm for the long term.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and contribute to the design process for luxury commercial and residential renovation projects.
• Develop and produce comprehensive Construction Document (CD) sets.
• Engage in the full project lifecycle, from concept through completion.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Oversee and participate in construction management, including site visits and contractor coordination.
• Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and permitting processes.
• Work collaboratively within a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Interior Architecture.
• 7+ years of experience in luxury commercial and/or residential architecture and interiors.
• Extensive experience in construction documentation and detailing.
• Strong understanding of construction management and site coordination.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• In-depth knowledge of NYC building codes and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
