Under the direct supervision of the Group X Director, you will:

1. Provide group exercise instruction, including detailed programming of class(es), monitoring and educating members on fitness and safety, while maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for members and co-workers.
2. Create a curriculum that includes a balance of physical and spiritual guidance while leading members through various levels and types of Yoga practices.
3. Teach scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time; provide adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down.
4. Instruct members on effective workout methods and coach on breathing techniques; explain proper techniques, demonstrate exercises; identify different muscle groups and coach appropriate methods to strengthen specific muscles.
5. Prepare appropriate equipment, music, and theme for each class.
6. Assist members during class, answer questions, relay any member feedback or concerns to the Spa and Fitness Director, and maintain a positive exercise experience for members and their guests.
7. Develop a synergetic relationship with class participants and take note of specific member injuries and ailments while maintaining a professional and gracious attitude when receiving member feedback.
8. Ensure that safety standards are met, and that department and facility policies are adhered to.
9. Find adequate coverage for classes should you need a sub.
10. Perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the company as requested by the supervisor.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Certified Yoga Instructor with a minimum of 200 hours. RYT Preferred. Additional specialty/certifications preferred.
2. Friendly and outgoing with excellent communication skills.
3. CPR/AED Certification.
4. Must have a high degree of energy, be physically fit, and have the endurance to complete a workout.
5. This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 35 lbs, stand for extended periods, and ensure a professional demeanor, clear communication, and appearance in a clean uniform.
