Whether you need to get rid of pesky raccoons, skunks, or opossums causing property damage, or remove wildlife (including rats, mice, squirrels raccoon, skunk or opossums, from inside your home, crawlspace, or attic, trap wildlife that are ravaging your lawn, remove animal carcasses from your residential or commercial property, and/or provide animal exclusion repairs, count on Critter Control to get the job done in a safe, effective and humane manner.

Pay:

  • $22.00 - $24.00/hour based on experience in the industry
  • Commission(Available once the introductory period of 90 days has been completed satisfactorily.)

Responsibilities:

  • Calling customers to schedule the time frame of arrival
  • Route management in advance
  • Inspections and cleaning
  • Repairs, Re-inspections / Upsell
  • Trap Checks
  • Taking high-resolution photos
  • Documenting all findings and documenting detailed notes
  • Take and Pass All Safety Training
  • Follow All Cal/OSHA Safety Regulations
  • Truck maintenance
  • Notifying the supervisor of needed service
  • Making onsite inspections to identify wildlife species responsible for threat or damage by sight, sound, tracks, type of damage or other appropriate evidence.
  • The Capture and removal of Nuisance Wildlife in an urban and suburban setting.
  • Working on Roofs using tall ladders as well as working in attics and crawl spaces.
  • Performing necessary duties in various types of weather during all times of the year.
  • Perform basic repair work on areas where animals have damaged using hand tools, power tools, sheet metal, and screening.
  • Formulates and implements a management plan based on sound Biological principles, applicable laws, policies, and integrated wildlife damage management strategies (including demise and disposal)
  • Coordinate plans and work activities with supervisor, law enforcement officials, property owner, and others as appropriate.

Job requirements

  • Prior Industryexperience of 1-2+ years is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to take and pass the California Dept. of Fish and Wildlife Trapping Exam
  • Must be able to take and pass all safety training, and the Critter Control Certified Wildlife Specialist Exam
  • Familiarity with the local and surrounding area.
  • Excellent customer service attitude.
  • Must pass a drug screen/criminal background check.
  • Must be able to pass an employment physical.
  • Must be able to be medically cleared to wear a respirator.
  • Must be willing and able to fulfill all job-related travel normally associated with this position.
  • Able to lift heavy objects (minimum 65 lbs.) and maintain consistent awareness of surroundings at all times.
  • Must be able to climb, crawl, up, on, and in roofs, crawlspaces, under porches, and other tight areas.
  • Have a general understanding of the use and care of hand and power tools
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid Drivers License and clean driving record.
