Precious Tails is looking for an experienced graphic designer to grow our packaging, textile and presentation capabilities. The Packaging & Textile Graphic Design position requires technical knowledge of designing product packaging, product and display boxes, POP displays, textile design and customer presentations/ decks.

Requirements:

• Approximately 5+ years experience.
• Experience in package design for pet, beauty, or home accessories market.
• MAC proficient; Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Work on a wide variety of packaging for product categories from branding, boxed and bottles products, hangtags, labels etc.
• Design work on textile prints for pet bedding apparel and soft storage
• Design presentation books for retail partners and info graphs for our growing ecommerce business.
• Execute all projects from concept to technical packs for overseas factories.
• Develop mock ups for packaging for presentations to retailers.

Skill Requirements

• Must understand all elements of design: illustration, page layout, color and typography.
• Must be able to design all technical aspects of packaging for mass production and communicate with our overseas partners.
• Must be a highly detail-oriented and deadline-driven self-starter with a strong sense of priority and follow-through.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to handle multiple projects at once.
• Must have working knowledge of design applications such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign on a Macintosh platform.
• Have the ability to follow through.
