Warehouse Worker

Job Description

As a Dispensing Operator/Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for staging and dispensing raw materials, cleaning the dispensing room, and ensuring compliance with cGMP and SOPs. You will also be responsible for inspecting and sampling incoming raw and packaging materials and disposing of materials based on QA management disposition notices. Previous forklift experience is required as you will be moving products safely throughout the warehouse while operating forklifts.

Responsibilities

• Stage and dispense raw materials.
• Clean the dispensing room.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
• Inspect and sample incoming raw and packaging materials.
• Dispose of materials based on QA management disposition notices.
• Safely operate forklifts to move products throughout the warehouse.
• Handle inventory, including cycle counting.
• Manage shipping and receiving tasks, including loading, unloading, picking, packing, palletizing, sorting, and using a reach truck.
• Utilize RF scanners for order picking and inventory management.

Essential Skills

• Forklift operation experience.
• Material handling and inventory management skills.
• Experience with cycle counting and RF scanners.
• Proficiency in shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to load, unload, pick, pack, palletize, and sort materials.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with packaging materials.

Work Environment

This position offers hiring for both 1st and 2nd shifts. The 1st shift runs from 7:00am to 3:30pm EST, and the 2nd shift runs from 3:00pm to 11:30pm EST. Candidates must be available to train from 8:30am to 5:00pm EST for the first month.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chantilly, Virginia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
