ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Dallas, Texas.

\n\nTravel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
\n\nOpportunity:
\nRN - OR ICU/SICU
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work in 16-bed SICU (651) unit with 1:2 patient ratios
\n• 13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week
\n• Flexible scheduling with assignments made one month in advance
\n• Assignments based on patient acuity and skill level
\n• Floating required as needed
\n• Must have 2+ years ICU experience
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
\n• CCRN certification preferred
\n• Active Texas RN license required (temporary licenses not accepted)
\n• Experience with CRRT and hypothermia protocols preferred
\n• Meditech documentation system experience preferred
\n• Work with all ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, GE Cardiac Output monitors
\n• Perform central line placements, bedside procedures like thoracentesis, dialysis catheter placements, cardioversions, intubations and other ICU procedures
\n• Care for surgical population, especially oncology patients
\n• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
\n• No artificial nails, gel, or nail extensions permitted
\n• Hair must be neat and pulled back if shoulder length or longer
\n• Body art should be covered when possible
\n• No visible piercings other than ears
