Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MS/Tele 6B 48's Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will accept 36hrs
Length: 13 Weeks
Can accommodate 3x12s if candidate prefers.Will work every other weekend (Fri/Sat for night shift, Sat/Sun for day shift)
Requirements: - IL License
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry
- Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams
- Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band.
- Required Endocrine/Metabolic Case Skills/Experience: IV insulin protocols
- Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
- Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips
- Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management
- Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
- BLS
- ACLS and NIH preferred
Others: - Will float to like units (MS/Cardiac). Not IMC/ICU.
