• Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Registered Nurse, Cardiac Device Specialist
• Clinical RN that works with Cardiac devices ensuring the patient's heart devices are functioning.

Job Requirements

• If not RN, applicant must have CCS or CDRMS credentials.
• If applicant is a RN, must have cardiac rhythm experience and WI RN license.
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years in Cardiac Clinic.

Schedule Information

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40hrs
• Shift Requirements: 8-Hour shifts, varied between 630a and 5p.
• Weekend/Holiday: No weekends. Holiday rotation.
• On Call/Call Back Requirements: No Call.

Unit Specific Information

• Patient ratio: 4800 patients enrolled in the Device Clinic.

Additional Details

• Start Date: Asap
• Education Requirements: Associate Degree in related health sciences, or equivalent, with an Associate Degree in cardiovascular, cardiopulmonary, nursing or biomedical electronic sciences or a Bachelor’s Degree in cardiovascular/cardiopulmonary sciences beneficial.
• Unit Specific Skillset: Knowledge of ECG interpretive skills, cardiac clinical assessment, routine cardiovascular pharmacological agents, technological aspects of devices, programming checks preferred, working knowledge of major programmers, ability to do remote monitoring.
• Preferred: Experience with Epic EMR and/or PaceArt.
• Unit Overview: 4800 patients enrolled in the Device Clinic. Daily tasks consist of remote download analysis, in-patient checks, post implant teachings.
