The Athletics Department has a great opportunity for a Football Nutrition Services Coordinator - Temporary to work at the Coral Gables Campus.
+ Actively participate as a member of the University of Miami Sports Nutrition staff
+ Oversee the daily operations and logistics, as they relate to football
+ Work in collaboration with the Lead in football nutrition, to oversee meal ordering and menu development
+ Work in collaboration with the Lead in football nutrition, to oversee the budget
+ Work in collaboration with the Lead in football nutrition, to submit expense reports
+ Work in collaboration with the Lead in football nutrition, to procure vendors and to maintain relationships/communications with the vendors
+ Manage and supervise all aspects of operations of Nutrition Center and assigned Fueling Stations including managing student-volunteers/interns/work study, product inventory, ordering, receiving, and distribution
+ Maintain effective communication with coaching staff, athletic trainers, strength staff and other individuals from the Athletic Department on any nutrition related matter.
+ Serve our student-athletes with a positive, welcoming, and committed attitude.
+ Perform additional tasks as assigned by the sports dietitian
Minimum requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in clinical nutrition, dietetics, food and nutrition or a related area
+ Ability to work a non-standard work week which may include nights, weekends, and holidays
+ Ability to work independently, take initiative and complete work tasks with minimal direction
+ Knowledge of sports nutrition and food service management
+ Ability to be punctual, enthusiastic, and self-motivated
+ Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
+ Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.) and Canva
+ Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing to convey clear, well-articulated information.
+ Strong organizational skills.
+ Intuitively able to reason, analyze information and events, and apply judgment in order to solve problems of both a routine and complex nature.
