Job Title: SEO Content Specialist

Location: Fully Remote

Pay Rate: $50,000 - $60,000 a year

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

What you will be doing:

• Assist in developing, executing and delivering SEO strategies that support website roadmap for improvements in content, on-page, technical, crawlability and UX.
• Execute strategies to optimize a website's visibility and ranking on search engine results page
• Working closely with website production teams and Key stakeholders
• Communicating technical details and explain tactics
• Implementing strategic organic search concepts
• Utilize SEO tools including: Ahrefs, SEMRush, Google Search Console, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc., to inform your content creation process
• Perform continuous auditing, identify and recommend areas for improvement within site
• Establish, measure, analyze KPIs and report on benchmarks
• Analyze and report on traffic behavior, keyword rankings and site performance
• Work to optimize site taxonomy, improve titles, alt tags, meta tags, and schema markup
• Collaborate with creative/writing teams
• Work with developers to identify, resolve, and standardize technical SEO for Google compliance and best practices
• Introduce and create SEO A/B testing to understand effectiveness of optimization, and quantify results

Qualifications / Skills:

• Experience interpreting SEO reports and explaining them to clients with varying levels of SEO knowledge
• Experience with WordPress and ability to manipulate website backends comfortably
• Basic understanding of HTML and web design principles
• Proficient in Mac or Microsoft Office products
• Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMRush, or comparable platforms
• Capability to perform keyword research and implement SEO enhancements
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for simplifying complex technical information
• High-level understanding of Local SEO, directory style websites, service-based businesses and on page optimization
• Expertise in keyword tracking, research and identifying high intent content topic
• Experience collaborating with clients and marketing teams
• Notion (project management / CRM software) experiences a plus
• HVAC or Home service industry experience a plus
• Work collaboratively in a remote workspace with team members as well as clients to deliver a high level of service to our clients
