Job Summary:

Our client is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer who will lead the creation of task breakdowns to meet project objectives and ensure seamless execution. This opportunity is located in Orlando, FL!

Duties:

• Translate high-level strategy into clear, actionable project objectives
• Lead project planning efforts, including architectural design and attending team and product meetings
• Ensure that tasks and tickets are completed on time and within scope
• Guide and mentor other engineers in efficiently breaking down tasks and meeting deadlines
• Maintain clear and consistent communication regarding project status with stakeholders
• Share insights, challenges, and learnings from your work with the broader organization to foster knowledge-sharing
• Lead troubleshooting efforts during on-call situations, applying strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Collect and articulate detailed forensic data to facilitate effective root cause analysis and resolution
• Mentor and teach other engineers on best practices for task breakdown, time management, and troubleshooting
• Serve as a resource for engineers to improve processes, communication, and project execution

Desired Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience
• Strong technical experience with consumer- and employee-facing enterprise systems
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues efficiently
• Expertise in designing, architecting, and maintaining highly scalable and highly available systems
• Experience managing web, caching, and queuing technologies in large-scale, high-traffic environments
• Proficiency in at least one public cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with distributed version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong background in managing both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Atlantis
• Hands-on expertise with AWS services (e.g., Fargate, ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, ALB/ELB, ElastiCache, EKS, KMS Secret Manager, VPCs, IAM)
• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Splunk, AppDynamics, Elastic Stack, Grafana)
