Job Title: Senior Data Scientist - Azure Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with specialized expertise in Azure to lead and provide strategic insights into our AI/ML initiatives. This role will focus on leveraging Azure's AI ecosystem to drive business solutions while collaborating with data engineers and offering product management perspective.

Core Responsibilities:

• Leadership: Guide the AI/ML strategy by communicating effectively with data engineers and providing valuable product management insight to the broader team.
• Strategic Oversight: Take a leadership role in overseeing the design and implementation of AI/ML solutions, with a focus on high-level architecture and long-term goals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers to ensure alignment and successful execution of AI/ML initiatives, fostering an environment of cross-functional collaboration.
• Model Integration: Support the integration and optimization of AI/ML models, particularly with Azure's GenAI stack, ensuring they meet business needs and drive innovation.

Required Technical Skills:

• Azure Expertise: In-depth expertise in Azure's AI and ML services, particularly within the Azure GenAI Stack .
• Data Engineering Collaboration: Proven experience working alongside data engineers to guide the development and deployment of scalable AI/ML solutions.
• AI Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams in AI/ML project delivery while overseeing the broader technical and product strategy.
• Model Deployment: Experience in driving the deployment and oversight of production AI models, ensuring they are in alignment with business objectives.

Required Experience:

• Leadership Role: Strong background in taking leadership roles on AI/ML projects, with less emphasis on hands-on, day-to-day technical tasks.
• Collaborative Strategy: Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams, particularly data engineers, and providing leadership in AI/ML initiatives.
• AI/ML Solution Delivery: Proven track record of delivering strategic AI solutions from ideation through to production.
• Product Insight: Experience providing product management insights to ensure AI/ML initiatives align with overall business goals and priorities.
