Secondary Math Teacher (6-12) - Kingdom Heights Preparatory School

Position Overview:

Kingdom Heights Preparatory School, a ministry of The Rock Family Worship Center , is seeking a passionate and faith-driven Secondary Math Teacher (Grades 6-12) to equip students with critical thinking and problem-solving skills through mathematics. The ideal candidate will inspire academic excellence while integrating biblical principles into daily instruction.

Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited university.

• Certification : Valid Alabama teaching certification with appropriate subject area endorsement(s) and grade level.

• Skills : Strong instructional abilities, classroom management, and commitment to faith-based education.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Faith-Based Instruction & Leadership

• Integrate biblical principles into math instruction, demonstrating the order and logic of God's creation.

• Model Christ-like character in interactions with students, staff, and parents.

• Actively participate in chapel services, devotionals, and school-wide faith initiatives.

✅ Engaging & Effective Teaching

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum.

• Teach math concepts in a way that is engaging, clear, and accessible for all learning levels.

• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, including hands-on activities, technology, and real-world applications.

✅ Student Support & Classroom Management

• Create a structured, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

• Establish and uphold clear expectations for student behavior.

• Assess student progress regularly and adjust instructional methods accordingly.

✅ Communication & Collaboration

• Maintain open, professional communication with parents, colleagues, and administrators.

• Provide timely feedback on student progress and development.

• Engage in professional development to continually improve teaching practices.

Additional Information:

• Contract Term : 189 days

• Salary : Based on education and experience.
