Job Summary and Responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nutrition Assistant II to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting our patients on their journey to optimal health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Assist with patient intake: Gather patient information, including dietary history and health concerns.
  • Prepare and maintain patient education materials: Create and distribute materials on nutrition topics, recipes, and meal planning strategies.
  • Collaborate with registered dietitians: Assist with data entry, meal planning, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

Job Requirements:

  • One (1) year foodservice experience
  • High School Graduate or GED
  • Fire Safety card, within 90 Days
