PositionSummary:

The Relocation Coordinator provides excellent customer service to clients,residents, prospective residents, guests, and vendors. Relocation Coordinatorsare responsible for being the main point of contact for residents before,during, and following significant interior renovations of the buildings. TheRelocation Coordinator will be assisting residents throughout the renovationsprocess. The Relocation Coordinator will work directly with Property Managers,construction liaisons, contractors, and the property team members to ensure thehighest quality experience possible for our residents.

Job Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming environment and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and community members.
  • Assess resident needs and connect them with appropriate community services and resources.
  • Coordinate resident logistics during renovations, including communication, relocation notices, and move management.
  • Support residents through transitions by addressing concerns and facilitating social and enrichment activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, ensure timely reporting, and perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Committed to equity, respect, and service values, with availability for occasional evenings/weekends

RequiredEducation and Experience:

  • 2+ years experience for relocation of residents in an apartment building or other similar experience.
  • High School diploma (or equivalent) required; bachelor’s degree in social work, gerontology or other social science preferred
  • Understand and have experience with independent living philosophy 
  • Knowledge of the ADA is a plus
