Recording Clerk to join our TC&E team.
The
Recording Clerk will be responsible for filing documents of record and issuing title insurance policies. The recording function includes many facets, including, but not limited to; knowledge of recording compliance requirements across a broad spectrum of jurisdictions. In this position you will need a basic understanding of real estate title, document curative, the closing process and the fundamentals of title insurance.
What you will do for TC&E: - Review, evaluate, and submit for record title related documents in various jurisdictions across the United States
- Recognize deficiencies, and the skills to implement corrective action
- Effectively coordinate corrective actions with other departments
- Manage a dynamic workflow
- Effectively and accurately generate title insurance
What you will bring to TC&E: - High school diploma/GED required
- Title & title insurance experience, excellent communication, and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and would prefer some REO, Short Sale closing experience
- National title and closing experience or experience with mortgage trailing docs
- Attention to detail
- Develop and maintain data bases
- Understanding and skills to utilize various research sources
- Prioritize tasks based on potential liability and urgency
