Contract Project Manager - Essent ERP Implementation

Contract (4-6 months, with potential extension)

Overview:

We are seeking a results-driven Contract Project Manager with proven experience leading Essent ERP implementations. This role is critical in driving the successful execution of the project lifecycle, from planning and configuration to deployment and post-implementation support. The ideal candidate will combine their project management expertise with deep knowledge of Essent ERP to ensure a seamless integration with existing business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Manage all phases of the Essent ERP implementation, ensuring project goals are met on time, within scope, and on budget.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, vendors, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project.
• Planning & Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Process Analysis: Work with cross-functional teams to analyze current workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement through the ERP system.
• Data Migration: Oversee the migration and validation of data into Essent ERP, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Training & Support: Collaborate with teams to design and deliver training programs for end-users, ensuring successful adoption.
• Reporting & Documentation: Track project progress, prepare status reports, and maintain thorough documentation of project activities and decisions.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, including ERP implementations.
  • Specific experience with Essent ERP implementation is required.
• Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field; PMP certification preferred.
• Skills:
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
  • Expertise in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
  • Familiarity with ERP data migration, integration, and reporting processes.
