Tax Manager - International Tax

Responsibilities:

• International Tax Planning: Provide strategic tax advice to multinational corporations operating in Japan and other global markets.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with complex international tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Cross-Border Transactions: Advise clients on cross-border mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring.
• Transfer Pricing: Develop and implement effective transfer pricing strategies to minimize global tax liabilities.
• Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with Japanese clients and international tax authorities.

Qualifications:

• CPA or Equivalent: CPA, CA, or equivalent professional designation.
• International Tax Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in international tax, with a focus on Japan.
• Japanese Fluency: Proficient in both written and spoken Japanese.
• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of international tax laws, treaties, and regulations.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in English and Japanese.
