Job Description

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented  Project Manager to join our team onsite in San Diego, CA . This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Lead and coordinate the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating, and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams.

• Coordinate systems development for major applications, define project requirements including information and data needs, business analysis and programming.

• Coordinate all meetings and interface with business units, staff and service providers

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end while defining the project scope, goals and deliverables.

• · Determine if external consultants or contractors should be added to the internal project and/or development team(s) in order to successfully complete the project.

• Daily Management and coordination of all technical and logistical aspects of a project including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items and change requests.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree and 7+ years of relevant Project Management experience or equivalent education and years of experience in lieu of degree

• Experience with planning and developing project schedule

• Experience with resource management

• Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance

Preferred Qualifications:

• PMP Certification

• Prior experience with Navy

• Prior experience with Navy Continuous Training Environment program.

Clearance Requirements:

• US Citizenship required and an Active Secret Security clearance

Physical Requirements:

• Up to 25% travel required or as needed

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

• The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
