Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data center industry, is seeking a Procurement Specialist 5 to join their team. As a Procurement Specialist 5, you will be part of the procurement department supporting strategic sourcing initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, along with a proactive mindset that will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business requirements and define category strategies for sourcing goods and services.
• Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers and identify new potential partners.
• Manage key sourcing activities, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and risk management.
• Monitor compliance with sourcing processes and act as an internal consultant throughout each stage.
• Develop category or sub-category strategies, plans, and sourcing pipelines to support business growth.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience supporting data centers or in supply chain and procurement roles.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
