Role Overview:

• Partner with classroom teachers to integrate English language development across all subject areas.
• Provide individualized and small group lessons tailored to meet the unique needs of ELL students.
• Create an inclusive, welcoming, and safe classroom environment that fosters student growth.
• Establish clear expectations for behavior to promote a productive and secure learning environment.
• Regularly evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure continuous development.
• Design and execute lessons for ELL students, aligned with both school and state standards.

Requirements

• Up-to-date Illinois PEL with ESL endorsement.
• Experience as an ESL Teacher or in a related teaching role.
• At least a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required
• A Master's degree in TESOL or a related field is highly preferred.
• Prior experience working with students from diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
