GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define, implement, evaluate, and increase overall employee effectiveness by enhancing leadership capacity, analyzing data to identify areas of improvement proactively, working with oversight in organization-wide employee development initiatives, facilitating training, and collaborating to support critical change through HR business efforts. Conduct needs analysis, formulate recommendations and support the development and implementation of formal learning programs. Assist in creating, administering, and tracking assessments, metrics and evaluations to measure learning impact.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Design and deliver leadership development & performance management programs to support organizational growth.

2. Develop, design, and deliver innovative, result-oriented training programs and activities (customer service, employee engagement, etc.)

3. Provide leadership/management coaching.

4. Provide internal consulting for improving organizational, leadership, team and individual performance.

5. Design and implement methods for obtaining data (e.g., surveys, interviews and departmental policy and procedure manuals) to improve employee performance.

6. Consult with departments to develop career paths, including necessary training and on-the-job learning requirements/programs.

7. Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements.

8. Conduct needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance. 9. Create and implement programs that connect employees with business goals.

10. Facilitate and assist in developing key performance measures throughout the organization.

11. Identify performance gaps and determine training needs.

12. Develop job-specific training for assigned departments, including developing material.

13. Develop/revise and keep current all training manuals and materials.

14. Ensure BWWB University is kept current by gathering and submitting relevant material as assigned.

15. Collect required training documentation and assist in developing an annual training calendar.

16. Administer external training programs by marketing classes to other organizations using various tools (i.e., cold calling, sending letters, attending conferences, etc.).

17. Maintain and protect sensitive and private information by keeping employee records confidential by HIPAA, local, state, and federal laws and regulations. Ensure that PHI/ePHI of employees, plan participants, patients, and other assigned individuals is maintained and transmitted in a secure and legally compliant manner.

18. Perform all work safely in accordance with established safety policies and procedures. Employees must wear and use personal protective and other safety equipment if applicable.

19. Perform other duties as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in business, organizational design, or a job-related field.

Experience:

Five (5) years of experience in organizational development, training, and development, including design, development, and delivery. Demonstrated experience using OD tools and techniques in a corporate organizational environment. Experience in business transformation projects, including process improvement and change management. Excellent oral/written communication, organizational and multitasking abilities, and familiarity with teaching concepts will also be expected. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; strong PC skills (Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel); excellent training/presentation skills using adult learning concepts. Experience working in a team environment; strong planning/organizing & time management skills; and demonstrated problem-solving skills.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

One of the below certifications is required within 18 months:

• ODPC – Organizational Development Process Certification

• ODCP – Organizational Development Certification Program

• ODCC – Organizational Development Certified Consulting

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods

• Reaching by excreting hand(s) or arms(s) in any direction

• Finger dexterity is required to manipulate objects with fingers rather than with whole hand(s) or arm(s), for example, using a keyboard

• Communication skills using the spoken word

• Ability to see within normal parameters

• Ability to hear within normal parameters

• Ability to move about

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:

• Willingness and ability to travel to other organizations to teach training classes.

• Moderate noise (business office)

• Occasionally visit job sites, in plants or outdoors, exposed to extreme hot/cold and or wet weather conditions. May work around machinery, etc., and be subject to loud noises
