🔹 Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse II

📍 Location: Kansas City, MO 64114

⏳ Duration: 4 Months (with possibility of conversion to full-time)

🕗 Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

💲 Pay Rate: $37.39/hr (W2)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse II to support Workplace Solutions by providing clinical expertise across drug & alcohol testing services and occupational health reviews. This role involves close collaboration with internal teams, clients, laboratories, and donors to ensure compliance, accuracy, and high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for Drug Testing Services across a broad client base
• Support and uphold the integrity of the clinical review process
• Interpret, review, and report workplace testing results per SOPs
• Review documentation for errors and contact donors to determine valid medical explanations for non-negative results
• Collaborate with Workplace Operations Leadership on process improvements
• Review physical exam documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Follow up with providers, clinics, employers, and employees for additional or corrected medical documentation
• Review DOT medical documentation, self-reported medications, and return-to-work eligibility
• Evaluate donor-submitted medical records (lab results, vaccines, TB tests, OSHA respirator questionnaires, etc.)
• Provide feedback to labs, collection sites, clients, and tested individuals
• Maintain compliance with Client Rapid Diagnostics Quality policies and procedures
• Provide employers with status updates on medical cases under review
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in occupational health, hospital, or outpatient nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Call center or phone triage experience
• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)
• Certified Nurse Case Manager (CCM)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
