About the Role:

Were looking for a friendly, talented, and engaging singing and ukulele coach to provide private lessons for our three children (ages 10, 10, and 14). The ideal instructor will foster a love for music, help build confidence, and create a fun, supportive learning environment tailored to each childs pace and style.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 1-on-1 and small group instruction in singing and ukulele

• Tailor lesson plans to match skill levels and musical interests

• Help prepare basic practice routines between sessions

• Encourage creativity and growth in a fun, low-pressure environment

• Track progress and provide regular feedback to both students and parents

Qualifications:

• Experience teaching music to children or pre-teens (ages 1014)

• Strong vocal and ukulele skills

• Friendly, patient, and encouraging personality

• Ability to make lessons fun, structured, and engaging

• Reliable transportation (if in-person) or comfort with virtual teaching tools (if remote)

Preferred:

• Background in music education or performance

• Experience with harmonies, songwriting, or multiple instruments is a plus
