Transports patients (internally and externally), equipment, supplies and other items to and from all hospital departments. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED (Required), 1 year experience in medical transport (internal or external), and preferred experience in hospital, healthcare, or customer service settings. Must be BLS Certified by American Heart Association within 3 months of hire and possess a valid Georgia Driver's License meeting insurability requirements. Essential functions include safe driving standards, customer service, and lifting dynamics. Additional duties include adherence to attendance and punctuality guidelines, alignment with organizational core values, ongoing education, attendance at staff meetings, competency evaluations, and use of age-specific customer service skills. Protective clothing and equipment must be worn as appropriate.
