Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Community Based Services Manager to lead our community-based programs. This individual will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of excellence and dignity for all participants.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enriching activities that support social, cognitive, and physical well-being.
• Lead and mentor a team of caregivers and activity coordinators, ensuring high standards of care.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and KAAUM policies.
• Manage program budgets, staffing schedules, and resource allocation effectively.
• Build strong relationships with participants, families, and community partners to enhance program impact.
• Monitor participant health and safety, coordinating with healthcare providers when necessary.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate documentation for audits and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and or 4-5 years of social services experience.
• 4 years of experience in adult day services, activity coordinator, senior care, Nursing, Gerontology, and or program management.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of state regulations and best practices in adult day care.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
