Job Description: We are seeking an Entry Level Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of accounting office experience to provide administration support to our Accounting Department. The candidate will perform various clerical tasks, data entry, work with spreadsheets, create reports and assist the senior staff to ensure quality and accurate accounting is being completed. Please do not apply for this job if you do not have an accounting background. This job will require all applicants to have strong math and computer skills (especially in QuickBooks accounting software and spreadsheets), and a detail-oriented, organized mindset. Job Title: Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant Essential Functions: Data entry for all accounting transactions Account payable and receivables General Journal Entities Bank Reconciliation Year-end 1099 Preparation Credit Card Reconciliation Filing: Invoices, Bank Statements, and other financial documents Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Knowledge of Accounting Principle Data Entry: Advance Level QuickBooks: Intermediate to Advance Level Microsoft Office: Advance level Strong Computer Skills Strong work ethic & ability to multitask Pro-active with ability to work independently Great team player and people skills Can be trusted to handle confidential and sensitive information Experience in real estate industry is preferred Work Remotely: No Work Location: Pasadena (In Person) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: we offer our employees the following competitive benefits package: · Medical, Vision and Dental insurance · 401(k) with company match · Paid vacation · Paid holidays · Paid sick time Schedule: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Monday to Friday Experience: Accounting: 2 years (Preferred) GAAP: 2 years (Preferred) Construction Accounting: 1 year (Preferred) Pay Rage: Salary will be based on experience, skills and qualifications Company Description Our company has been building residential and commercial properties in Pasadena, California for over two decades.
