We are seeking a highly skilled Low Voltage Cable Technician with a minimum of 4years of commercial experience to join our team in Casper, Wyoming. The ideal candidate will have expertise in installing, terminating, and troubleshooting low voltage cabling systems, including structured cabling, fiber optics, security systems, and AV installations.

Per Diem and hotel accommodations offered for days worked.

Responsibilities:

• Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, coaxial, etc.).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensure compliance with Wyoming state codes and industry standards .
• Work with team members and project managers to complete installations efficiently.
• Perform site surveys and inspections to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain and organize tools, materials, and job site cleanliness.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of commercial low voltage experience.
• Must hold a valid Wyoming Low Voltage License.
• Strong knowledge of NEC codes, BICSI standards, and industry best practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in using cable testers, fusion splicers, OTDRs, and other diagnostic tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work on ladders, and perform tasks in various environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
