Job Description

Description You are looking for a job that will truly engage you. You have an entrepreneurial spirit and can make things happen in a fast-paced startup environment. You want to grow and be challenged, but above all you want to work towards a mission, and for your work to have meaning. We’re Darrow - a fast-growing legal tech startup with an open, action-based culture unlike any other. We are committed to pursuing our vision of "frictionless justice," using advanced Machine Learning & AI to revolutionize the justice system. Our mission is about justice at scale: imagine walking into work every day knowing that you’re not only advancing your career but making a positive impact on the world. Darrow has more than 110 team members in Tel Aviv and New York, and is backed by world class investors: Georgian, F2 Venture Capital, Entree Capital, NFX and YCombinator. Not Your Average Role We’re a team of data experts and legal practitioners who deploy data, machine learning, and AI to monitor the web and discover undetected legal violations. By doing so, we bring them to light and justice — securing compensation for victims and deterring bad actors from wrongdoing. We created an open, action-based culture unlike any other, based on the shared values of creating an impact and making a change. Our mission is about impact at scale, and we provide our team members with access to the resources they need to get the work done. This is where you come in. About the Role We\'re looking for a talented Legal Consultant to orchestrate Darrow’s Legal Consulting team and build strong relationships with our partners to help bring justice to light. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter, who works comfortably under pressure, has a problem-solving mindset, and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Responsibilities Develop and manage strong relationships with key channel partners as the primary point of contact. Take ownership of complicated litigation issues and follow through to resolution. Lead optimization projects, and ensure a successful litigation process. Collaborate with the Legal Data team and Litigation Partnership team to determine and maintain successful litigation plans and strategy for assigned cases and clients. Communicate and engage with cross-functional peers to ensure client feedback is delivered and incorporated into company products and processes. Proactively manage cases and maintain internal CRMs and systems, ensure contract adherence, and promote efficiency. Requirements A licensed lawyer with 3+ years of litigation in a top tier U.S. law firm (experience in class actions (specifically ERISA litigation), mass arbitration, or mass torts is a plus). Strong relationship-builder with outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to adapt to a changing environment, and to lead an entire project from beginning to end. Top-notch legal expertise and a passion for discussing legal cases. Reliable and trustworthy. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship. Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision insurance for you and your dependents. $150 weekly Grubhub credit for lunches. Unlimited paid time off policy. Hybrid work model - onsite 3 days/week. Eligibility to participate in a stock option plan to give our employees a direct stake in Darrow’s success. Darrow provides a reasonable range of compensation. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of pay (base salary) for this role is $170,000 - $220,000. * Please note that if the years of experience are lower than the required qualifications, the salary range may be adjusted accordingly. #J-18808-Ljbffr Darrow
