AmeriCorp International Group has IMMEDIATE openings for Armed Security Officers to become an integral part of our team. This post is located in Los Angeles, CA.
JOB DUTIES include the following:
Monitor facility security cameras.
Lock and secure doors and gates as needed.
Enforce policies and procedures.
Attend to all situations swiftly, logically and appropriately.
Interact with local authorities: LAPD and LAFD
Report Writing: Electronic Daily Activity Reports, Incident Reports, and Maintenance Reports
JOB REQUIREMENTS include the following:
Must have Firearm permit and own a legally registered Firearm that meets the license qualifications for your firearm permit.
Must have CA Guard Card.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must have at least 6 months to a year of experience in a position as an Armed Security Officer.
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have smartphone.
Must have prior Customer Service experience.
Must be able to work Morning, Swing or Graveyard shifts.
Must be able to work 32-40 hours as needed.
Must be able to work overtime as needed.
Must be able to sit, stand and or walk for up to 8-16 hours.
Must be able to work immediately
Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.
Must have High School Diploma or GED
Must be able to perform job functions mentally and physically.
This includes paying attention to detail, close observation, critical thinking, and great communication. Must be able to grab, reach, pull and lift objects that weigh up to 25 lbs.
