Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is actively seeking a creative, highly talented **Entry Level Architectural Designer** . This position is located in the Columbus, Ohio office, which is a dynamic studio focusing on a large variety of project types, including higher education, cities, corporate commercial, logistical and federal projects. We are seeking a Designer with good technical, conceptual, visual, and communication skills to work in a highly collaborative and design-oriented studio. **Job Summary/Responsibilities** The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: + Participate in high-energy, collaborative team and project environments + Provide design and documentation support on projects of various sizes, type and complexity + Produce rapid visualization of design concepts and assist with building presentations to clients + Developing iterative solutions for a variety of design working under supervision by senior design staff + Adapts and modifies design features and operational methods to meet a variety of situations + Coordinates design activities with other engineering disciplines + Participate in design through all phases, from concept to construction administration. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + BA/BS in Architecture + None or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required. **Preferred Qualifications** + Master's in architecture + Strong conceptual design and schematic design skills + Working knowledge of 3D modeling; Revit, Sketchup, and/or Rhino desired + Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign + Desire to actively work toward architectural licensure + LEED Accreditation + Strong interpersonal skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills. **Additional Information** + Relocation is not available for this position. + Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available for this position now or in the future. **About AECOM** AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
