Develops individualized treatment and discharge plans for residents Makes referrals, coordinates services, and maintains regular and on-going consultations with other organizations Coordinates the vocational and educational goals of residents Facilities group and individual counseling sessions Supports and encourages resident participation in community self-help groups Assists in the oversight of program medication procedures Conducts breathalyzer and toxicology screenings Facilitates new resident assessments, admissions, and orientations Availabe for on-call coverage when needed Completes documentation per agency requirements Data input and word processing Requirements Masters Degree in Human Services or related field and a minimum of 6 months counseling experience. Field placement as an intern may be applied to the required counseling experience. Must possess and maintain a current Qualified Health Professional status. Or Bachelors Degree in Human Services or a related field and a minimum of one year counseling experience. Field placement as an intern may be applied to required counseling experience. Must possess and maintain a current Qualified Health Professional status. Or Associates Degree in Human Services or a related field; must possess and maintain a current Qualified Health Professional status and two years counseling experience in the appropriate field. Field placement as an intern may be applied to required counseling experience.
