About the Role

As an Environmental, Health & Safety Intern (EHS) , your responsibilities will involve learning about all aspects of Landus’ Safety program. This opportunity will not only enhance your portfolio but also allow you to apply your classroom skills in real-world scenarios while collaborating with multiple business units.

What will you do?

Over the summer you will spend time in each of the following areas:

• Assist in performing safety audits
• Participate in incident investigations
• Complete an EHSQ program review
• Perform safety training review
• Assist in developing & roll-out of QMS program
• Develop& monitor Risk Management Program and Tier II reports
• Assist with Risk Assessments
• Assist with Site Security Plans
• Analyze ways to improve safety program
• Assist in training and development of new training programs

Candidate Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a 2 or 4-year post-secondary program.

Licenses, Registrations, Certificates

• Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license

Location & Commitments

• Frequent use of hands and fingers to prod, handle, feel, or reach.
• Regularly required to talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision requirements include close vision and the ability to focus vision.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
