Job Description As part of the Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System Brand Team, the content strategist works to develop and execute content strategies and deliverables that align with our organization's goals and drives brand, volume and engagement for our multi-state healthcare system. The content strategist should have a strong knowledge and skillset in creating engaging and compelling content deliverables for various media types, including traditional ad-copy, storytelling and narratives and social, digital and video content. The Content Strategist should be a strong writer, as well as a strong creative. They will work closely with members of the larger Marketing and Communications department as well as those in other departments across FMOLHS to further our mission of providing healthcare to communities across Louisiana and Mississippi. They should be able to develop effective working relationships with others, assist in developing content-driven campaigns, and strive to promote personal performance quality in an effort toward promoting a positive brand.
Responsibilities Content Strategist Responsibilities: - Brainstorming, ideating, writing and developing clear and engaging content that extends our health system's strategic content vision and consumer engagement goals;
- Writing various forms of content, including long-form copy for annual reports, presentations, story articles, branded content, video scripts, social copy, ad copy for campaigns and individual projects;
- Supporting full Brand Team with copy concepting, campaign themes, copy decks and copy editing to support ongoing campaigns and projects;
- Understanding and building content for different audience personas, including consumers, employers, team members and clinical focuses that support personalized and engaging content
- Performing content audits to assess how well existing content is performing; partnering with social strategist and digital team to provide ongoing counsel and reporting related to content performance;
- Supporting Manager of Content Strategy with creating, adjusting and managing the editorial calendar;
- Understanding of keyword research tools, social media platforms, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM);
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including project strategy, design, and video, to ensure cohesive and effective content delivery.

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or related field.
