About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) to join its senior leadership team. The CAO will play a pivotal role in providing strategic advice and support on the management of daily operations, acting as a key liaison between the Chief Counsel and legal and operations staff. This includes overseeing and supporting agency operations, coordinating projects, and facilitating the creation and adoption of new policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for crisis management, communication, and the implementation of strategic plans and agency goals. Additionally, the CAO will supervise the Training Department and Private Attorney Outreach Partners, ensuring that the agency's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is upheld in all training and outreach activities. Applicants for the CAO position at the company should be members in good standing of the Massachusetts bar with at least 7 years' legal experience, or have an equivalent combination of education, experience, and skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in representing indigent clients, extensive knowledge of legal and operational systems, and a proven track record in project and team management. Excellent communication skills, the ability to lead teams in a positive and professional manner, and a commitment to the values of the agency are essential.
