BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER -

Promote and sell franchise services in an assigned territory, which results in meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals. Grow and develop customer base by utilizing a systematic process to identify new prospects and to routinely contact and follow-up with customers. Established sales goals are met or exceeded. Customer base is diverse and new customers are routinely added. Both internal and external communications are timely. Candidates must be able to build and maintain a diverse base of customer relationships as well as identify new sales prospect opportunities while increasing sales volumes and meeting monthly and annual sales goals.

Job Responsibilities:

Meet or exceed assigned sales quota.
Marketing: Sales and Marketing Activity
Set up closing appointments.
Maintain assigned contact lists (additions/deletions).
Conduct objective-to-objective daily marketing contacts, compile and maintain center of influence (COI) information, identify Target 25 (Top 25 contacts to develop into clients), and complete documentation, as appropriate.
Participate in professional associations, provide Lunch-and-Learns, and promote continuing education courses.
Understand production and estimating.
Take ownership of Roles and Responsibilities.
Develop and implement strategic marketing & sales programs to achieve significant increases in sales.
Identify market trends and opportunities to voluntarily find and develop new customers.
Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
Develop compelling story angles to attract target or potential customers/markets.
Cultivate relationships with key person related business in industries.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Attend trade shows.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a genuine interest in people. Asking open ended questions and delivering the brand message.
  • Talent in identifying and maximizing opportunities to build relationships with clients and customers to create win-win situations and support the business. Excellent organizational skills.
  • Comfortable with setting and running appointments, educational classes, and community events in a group setting
  • Respect for safety and brand identity guidelines. Ability to present yourself professionally and with integrity in a sales-based setting.
