Job Description

Position Overview: The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and overseeing the implementation of behavior intervention programs. This role involves close collaboration with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for each client.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and other assessments to identify the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment results.
Provide supervision and support to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff, ensuring adherence to ethical and professional standards.
Collect and analyze data to make informed decisions on program effectiveness and necessary modifications.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure consistency in the delivery of behavior support across settings.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Provide training and guidance to caregivers, families, and staff on behavior strategies and interventions.
Stay current with research and best practices in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to ensure high-quality care.

Qualifications:
Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
A master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
Proven experience in conducting assessments and developing treatment plans for individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably with children and adolescents.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles, interventions, and techniques.
Experience supervising and mentoring staff, including RBTs.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Compassionate, patient, and committed to delivering high-quality care.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Previous experience in a clinic, school, or in-home setting.
