Admissions Recruiter Department: Admissions and Recruitment Work Location: Main Campus The Admissions Recruiter is responsible for creating and expanding the awareness of Moraine Valley Community College within the college district. The recruiter is responsible for providing informational advice to prospective students regarding admission to the college, educational options and support services available to students. The Admissions Recruiter will focus on the recruitment of both adult and high school learners. The recruiter will conduct outreach at district high schools, businesses, libraries and community based organizations as well as conduct on campus recruitment events. The Admissions Recruiter will split recruitment efforts between adult and high school learners. The split will be determined by the strategic goals of the Admissions department. Admissions Recruiter will lead and create reports of Dual Credit students with the transitioning process to become students of Moraine Valley Community College. Serve as a liaison with the dual credit department. The admissions recruiter will provide regular updates and status reports of initiatives focusing on adult learners. Education / Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in appropriate field required Minimum of one to three (1-3) years of experience in recruitment and marketing initiatives required, preferably in higher education Experience developing and executing strategic plans; working with various campus/community populations and adult and high school learners Please ensure your resume reflects the required experience for the role Qualifications In addition to the above, the Admissions Recruiter position requires extensive interaction with the public; must have excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills; ability to manage many projects at one time; ability to plan and implement projects and events; knowledge of educational marketing and recruitment practices; technology competency; ability to work weekends and evenings and travel off campus as needed. Must possess a valid driver’s license. Knowledge of Colleague (Ellucian) Metrics driven with the ability to utilize data to drive student enrollment Bilingual skills in Arabic, Polish, or Spanish welcome; experience engaging with diverse campus and community populations Position Status Full Time Hours General Hours: Monday – Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and 9:00 am to 6:00 pm one day a week Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Additional weekend and evening hours are required at times Salary / Wage $47,945 - $64,160 (plus benefits) Hourly / Salary Salaried Benefits FT Professionals Staff: Moraine Valley offers a generous benefits plan which includes paid time off, tuition discounts for employees and dependents, medical, dental, vision, and retirement benefits in a collaborative and friendly environment.
