Marcom’s Computer Graphics (CG) Studio team is looking for a 2D Animation Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be creatively leading animators and designers in crafting outstanding animation and motion graphics for a wide range of projects. This includes efforts for: Advertising, Keynote, Events, Retail, Channel, and Social deliverables. You will collaborate with cross-functional and external partners, while working closely with the Managing Animation Supervisor and Lead Producer to ensure efficient and successful production across projects. Description
As a 2D animation supervisor, this role will guide animators on solving technical and creative challenges. Oversee daily reviews of work with internal teams, ensuring alignment with creative directions. Translate creative feedback into actionable items for the artists, providing constructive criticism for improvement, and outlining clear steps for implementation.
Additional responsibilities include:
Collaborate with the managing animation supervisor to understand project goals, brand guidelines, and visual requirements. Identify technical challenges, artists and skillset needs for up coming projects.
Effectively present work to external stakeholders and partners while identifying and recommending solutions for creative and technical challenges.
Work closely with producers to facilitate clear communication with our cross-functional teams. Verify the feasibility of milestones, deadlines, and creative requests, and ensure they are achieved.
Actively participate in design and animation tasks, contributing directly to project production.
Promote a professional, creative and collaborative environment for our project teams.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience supervising production and artists on animation and motion graphics projects
- Proficiency in key tools including, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Cinema 4D and utilize them to craft animation and design work

- Deep understanding of animation and design principles. Excellent design skills, a creative eye with a sensibility for composition, light, color, and strong attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, capable of leading collaborative efforts across departments
- Comfortable working in a demanding and fast paced environment with multiple stakeholders and teams all while maintaining a positive environment
- Expertise in handling simultaneous complex projects while maintaining high quality design standards
- 10+ years work experience as a lead in Animation production, delivering high quality designs and animation
- Bachelors Degree of Fine Arts or equivalent experience preferred

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,100 and $255,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
