Job Description
We are currently seeking a Certified Welder with strong experience in high-production environments to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, works independently, and has a proven track record in structural welding and repetitive-volume production. This is a full-time, day-shift position offering excellent growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Perform GMAW (MIG) welding on high-production tubular and structural components
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of high-production welding experience
Minimum 10 years of structural welding experience
Proficient in multi-pass welding techniques
Valid CWB certification in GMAW or FCAW (active and up to date)
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Physical ability to perform welding tasks for extended periods
Weld various materials including tubes, beams, angles, and plates
Accurately tack components in fixtures and jigs for assembly
Consistently produce high volumes with repetitive part runs (minimum 500+)
Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot welding machines, including gas flow, wire feed, voltage/amperage, and cable connections
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
Utilize basic measuring tools to ensure accuracy and quality control
Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions
Maintain clean and properly prepared weld joints and workpieces
Follow all company safety standards and protocols
Perform additional duties as required
