Warehouse/Production Worker Job Description
As a production worker, you will work on a shape production line loading raw materials into the machine, assisting machine operators to monitor production, and packaging finished products. You will help secure finished packaged items by gluing, stapling, wrapping, taping, or attaching fasteners. Additionally, you will mark or tag identification on parts and load and unload materials, products, or packaging from machines and containers. The role involves rotating each hour across different areas.
ResponsibilitiesThe facility is modern and less than 5 years old, providing a comfortable working environment. Work EnvironmentThis is a chemical manufacturing environment with a noticeable chemical/paint smell. The warehouse is temperature controlled. Employees are required to wear long pants, long sleeve shirts, and closed-toe and closed-heel shoes. Boots will be provided by the company.The first shift runs Monday to Thursday from 6:00am to 4:30pm, with overtime on Fridays as needed. The second shift runs Monday to Thursday from 3:30pm to 2:00am. Everyone starts at 7:00am on their first day for safety training and orientation. The second shift will require a week of training on the first shift.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.25/hr.
