Kelly, in partnership with a growing manufacturer, is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor in Elk Grove Village, IL.
\n
\nThis is a direct hire position meaning you will be hired directly with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire.

• 1st shift role: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday\n\t
• Pay: $70,000 - $75,000 annually\n

\n Job Description:
\nResponsible for overseeing the general operations of warehouse and its staff. Handle the recording and maintaining of inventory transactions. Train new workers and monitor performance and productivity. Act as lead on warehouse floor on as needed basis.\n\n

\n\t
• Ensure warehouse is a safe working environment and complies with OSHA standards.\n\t
• Overseeing the integrity of the receiving, inventorying, shipping of goods.\n\t
• Assuring quality of goods in storage.\n\t
• Orchestrating the flow of inventory in, out and within the warehouse including logistics scheduling optimization.\n\t
• Measuring and reporting the effectiveness of warehousing activities.\n\t
• Organizing and maintaining inventory storage area\n\t
• Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy.\n\t
• Support warehouse staff with on floor activities on an as needed basis\n\t
• Communicate job expectations and coach employees.\n\t
• Interface with all levels of the organization to answer questions or solve problems related to warehousing and shipping.\n\t
• Identify areas of process improvement and support warehouse manager in improving procedures and practices.\n

\n Skills \n\n

• Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor\n\t
• Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques\n\t
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications\n\t
• Able to operate all warehouse handling equipment.\n\t
• Strong organizational and time management skills\n\t
• Knowledge of warehouse management software packages.\n\t
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\n
