Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler (Wire Cutter)

Job Description

This role involves working primarily in the wire department. The main tasks include pulling electrical wire off reels, measuring to order specifications, and cutting the wire. Once the wire is cut, you will help prepare the product for shipment. This position is physically demanding and requires lifting up to 70 lbs. You must be comfortable working at a fast pace and under minimal supervision after training is completed. You may also be required to assist in other departments, including order picking and shipping/receiving.

Responsibilities

• Pull electrical wire off reels and measure to order specifications
• Cut wire and prepare it for shipment
• Assist in other departments as needed, including order picking and shipping/receiving
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Essential Skills

• Experience in warehouse, material handling, and general labor
• Comfortable with physically demanding tasks and lifting up to 70 lbs
• Ability to work at a fast pace and under minimal supervision
• Basic knowledge of wire cutting and handling equipment

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months of warehouse experience
• Experience in landscaping, stocking, packing, palletizing, or forklift operation is a plus

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
