Job Summary:

The Merchandiser will be responsible for delivering and/or unloading our products to customer locations on designated routes. This is a fast-paced position that stocks shelves, and builds displays that appeal to our consumers. The Hybrid Warehouse Position consists of receiving inventory shipments, processing inventory for delivery under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager and preparing inventory for delivery by loading for designated routes. 

Essential Job Functions:

• This position is responsible for preparing inventory for delivery while reporting to the Warehouse Manager and Delivering inventory as the Merchandiser. 
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned vehicles. 
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inventory inspections. Counting and verifying with warehouse employees and administrators. 
• Deliver, fill, merchandise, and rotate product on display for multiple floor/counter displays per customer.
• Set up merchandise and sales promotion displays and or fixtures. 
• Ensure neat appearance of all products in assigned accounts. 
• Pick up damaged and out of date product and unused displays. 
• Maintain quality assurance at every account. 
• Ensure proper accounting of product, cash, and assets daily. Ability to learn software associated with invoicing at each account (LaceUp). 
• Foster relationship with account personnel and provide superior customer service to all accounts serviced. 
• Perform various duties as assigned within the Warehouse and Merchandiser roles. 

Weekly Reporting Functions :

• Ensure proper accounting practices for cash, credit, and invoiced transactions. This includes the use of a lock box or safe. 
• Ensure safety standards for securing our delivery truck throughout daily route and in off-site locations.
• Reporting to home office (Jackson) for weekly cash and inventory audit. Re-stocking the delivery truck for the following week.

Requirements:

• Part-Time Driver averages 1-2 nights out per month. 
• Ability to read, speak, write and understand English to perform basic math skills (Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). 
• Valid MS Driver’s License and adhere to driver qualification program (Motor Vehicle Report will be reviewed). 
• Previous Driver/Merchandiser experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift (up to) 55 pounds repetitively.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must be self-motivated with a high degree of integrity and be able to perform job duties with minimal supervision.
• Must maintain a neat uniform and professional appearance.

Training Period:

· There will be a defined training period (approximately 2 weeks) during which you’ll learn the proper warehouse functions, merchandiser functions and become generally familiar with inventory and warehouse software. Proper understanding of this will be essential to moving into the commission-based sales role. The Pay during this period will be an hourly rate that is agreed upon before hiring. 

Salary:

· $35,000 salary, +Commission as Part-Time Driver
