Overview Title: Voice Network Engineer Location: Northeastern Region US (Hybrid) Employment Type: Contract Base pay range: $77.29/hr - $78.00/hr Description Manage design, configuration, and certification for complex systems. Interface with business areas to ensure initiatives support strategies and goals. Provide technology roadmaps governed by strategic direction and business requirements. Produce solutions architecture aligned with business needs and direction. Evaluate emerging technologies against strategic needs. Develop testing strategy and technology certification plans. Provide expert consultation for major network initiatives or incidents. Key Responsibilities Develop linkage with Architecture and Solutions team to deliver standard designs. Participate in peer reviews for high and low level designs. Deliver complex solutions on time and on budget. Provide L3 support to resolve complex production issues. Design to meet customer’s availability requirements. Engage with Product Management and partners to drive technology roadmaps. Develop and maintain architecture blueprints and design standards. Qualifications BS or BA in engineering or computer science. 10 years of experience in Voice and Collaboration industry. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Experience as an architect for large enterprise networks. Familiarity with networking trends such as software defined networking. Expertise in voice technologies including SIP Trunking and VoIP protocols. Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and virtualization strategies.
