The Guest Service Associate/Valet is responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services to guests in an attentive, friendly and efficient manner. The Guest Service Associate is responsible for parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a prompt yet safe manner and assisting guests with luggage, including delivery and pick up of guest luggage (where applicable) during arrival and departure. Essential functions include maintaining a pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with guests, co-workers, and clients; greeting guests; parking and retrieving vehicles cautiously; assisting guests with bell services and luggage storage; providing guests with directions, taxi, reservations, and other inquiries; explaining parking rates and retrieval procedures; issuing claim checks and collecting revenue when needed; and completing all ticket information accurately. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to pass a criminal background and drug screen. One month of related experience or equivalent education and experience is required. Physical demands include the ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Travel up to 5% may be required.
