Responsibilities:

• Perform ditch digging, power pole hole excavations, and related civil operator and labor tasks.
• Operate a variety of machinery, hand tools, including shovels, Pulaskis, pry bars, jump jacks, and other compaction equipment.
• Maintain a constant focus on safety and quality work.
• Work long hours as needed — minimum 50 hours per week .

Requirements:

• Must have experience operating excavators
• Must have experience operating vac-trucks
• Must be dependable and safety conscious
• Preferred experience operating drilling equipment, core barrels, augers
• Willing to travel and work out of town for extended periods.
• Responsible for own travel to/from job sites (Idaho/California) and lodging.
• Must be willing to join IBEW Local 1245.

Compensation (IBEW Local 1245 Operator Rates):

• $54.50/hour regular time
• $109.00/hour overtime, holidays, weekends, and nights
• $50/day subsistence pay

Work Locations: Bay Area, Central and Northern California

Pay scale is Union Based. Must be willing to travel for extended periods
